Power Modulators 

Heating cables permit temperature maintenance on domestic hot water installations. To fight against bacterial development, a power modulator plays the role of an energy dispenser. This electrical device adjusts the heating cables running time to the real needs of the installation. In option, a clock can program the periods when the power modulator will work 100%.

The FX/DC1P power modulator is used to adjust the power of an installation to the real need. It is particularly suited for heating elements used in hot water networks. The high-temperature treatment will avoid legionella development in the hot water pipe.

Operation

The power can be set from 0 to 100 %. Power is modified by limiting the power supply time to the cable in a 30-second cycle. Two controls are used to force the cycle to 100 % (impulse) or to 0 % (stop). For hot water, the sterilise function can be obtained with an external timer (option).
