Chromalox Thermwire Pre-assembled cables provide safe, reliable freeze protection for light commercial and residential piping. These products are provided with factory terminated 3-foot cord set/plug and end seal for a complete, easy to install heat trace system. Power output is 5 watts per foot @ 50°F and allows freeze protection of metal and plastic pipes up to 2.5” in diameter. Thermwire Pre-assembled cables are third-party tested & list by UL & CSA for safe, reliable protection of your piping.

WARNING — A ground fault protection device is required by NEC to minimize the danger of fire if the heating cable is damaged or improperly installed. A minimum trip level of 30mA is recommended to minimize nuisance tripping.
