Automation system in industry basically is the combination of Programmable Logic Control (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) working with instruments, sensors, machines, etc to carry out tasks precisely. With years of experience in automation industry, we diversified our automation profession in various field of industries.

Having served the industry for more than 30 years, our engineering team is adept at the design, installation as well as commissioning of automation systems for palm oil mills. Dpstar is involved actively in Palm Oil Mill Sterilizer Projects in Thailand whereby we work closely with consultants & contractors to supply PLC & SCADA System to the plant. We use Omron PLC with Beijer iX SCADA Software in our projects. Scope of Works included supply of Weighing Systems for Sterilizers, Sensors, PLC & SCADA System, which included engineering works.

By using a supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system consisting of a network of personal computers (PCs) and programmable logic controllers (PLCs), the plant-wide control system provides a cost-effective and comprehensive solution to the automation requirements of palm oil mills. The system enables to manage the process as a complete system, with control over the inter-relationships of various subsystems to improve the overall performance. The PLC system comprises one-unit main control panel complete with a master programmable logic controller and remote control panels complete with remote PLCs and touch-screen colour graphic user interfaces as sub-systems to enable the field operators to execute some of the monitoring and control functions without having to communicate with the control room operators.
